Reports to: Director of Pro Rehab
Status: 64‑80 hours per two‑week pay period
Shift: Days
Job schedule: Full time
Weekly hours: 32‑40

Performs selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist. Other duties may include documentation of treatment progress, modification of specific treatments in accordance with patient status within the plan of care, and supervision of Physical Therapy Technicians.

- Associate Degree with satisfactory completion of an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
- Current South Dakota licensure as a physical therapist assistant.
- Physical stamina to lift, carry, and/or move equipment used in evaluation and treatment.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, stoop, pull, push, and lift while transporting or transferring patients and performing treatments.
- Visual, auditory, and speech acuity for verbal and written communication with patients, families, physicians, and other caregivers.
- Work involves almost constant one‑to‑one contact with patients.
- Work is intermittently light to moderate or heavy, performed inside a well‑lit, heated, air‑conditioned space.
- Work may require travel to outreach locations.
