Field Technician

Overview

Job Title: Field Technician

As an environmental Field Technician, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our environment by collecting samples and monitoring potential pollution sources. Your work will contribute to ensuring public health and ecosystem well-being, making a real difference in the world. You will have a weekly routine driving route 2-4 days a week where you will collect and analyze field samples.

• Safely and efficiently drive assigned routes, arriving at designated locations for customers on time.
• Collect samples of water and soil for laboratory analysis.
• Perform on-site testing and analysis of samples in a field setting.
• Load and unload laboratory samples and field equipment.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies while operating a company vehicle.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Laboratory work: assist senior technicians and scientists with more complex laboratory procedures.

Basic Minimum

Job Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or a related field preferred.
• HS Diploma Required
• Authorization to work in US indefinitely without sponsorship
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Additional Preferences:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

• Position is full-time with regular business hours of operation 7:30 AM–4:30 PM; field technician positions offer flexible scheduling.

  Huntsville, TX site.
• Position Pay Range is $18-20/hr but will be reviewed based on experience.
