Housekeeper – Full Time
Huntsville Health Care Center | Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation
Schedule- Monday–Thursday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Huntsville Health Care Center is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team. Our housekeeping staff plays an essential role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff. If you take pride in your work and enjoy making a positive impact each day, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and hallways
- Sweep, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces in accordance with facility standards
- Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies as needed
- Follow all infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Maintain assigned work areas and equipment in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding room readiness
- Provide courteous, professional service to residents, families, and visitors
- Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality experience a plus)
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs as needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Professional demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Must pass background check and any required screenings
