Nature & Purpose of Position:

• Welcomes other students, staff, and faculty to the Garrett Center.
• Provides support to the staff in the Garrett Center.
• Supports the daily management of correspondence with prospective participants and community members (e.g., email, phone calls, social media) and responds to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Represents the Garrett Center at SHSU and community events. Assists in preparing for and hosting SHSU and community events.
• Works with computer programs and applications, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook), Qualtrics, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, and Canva.
• Completes data entry.
