Usual Duties: The Department of Computer Science invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position to strengthen both our research mission and core Computer Science teaching portfolio. Candidates with research strength in Robotics, Sensing, Autonomous Systems, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Hardware Integration, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, or other closely related areas are especially sought, and should be able to teach core courses such as Software Engineering, Operating Systems, and Compilers.

Degree Requirements: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field (abridged Ph.D. candidates will be considered), demonstrate strong potential for excellence in both teaching and research, and show a commitment to supporting the mission of the department and university.

Experience Requirements: The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, conduct high-quality scholarly research, develop a sustained and externally funded research program, supervise student research and mentoring, and contribute to service responsibilities at the department, college, university, and professional levels.

Other Requirements: Applicants must be able to demonstrate fluency in writing and speaking English.
