Nature & Purpose Of PositionThis part-time student worker position provides essential administrative support to the university press. The student will assist with daily office operations, including answering phones and emails, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and performing general office tasks. This role ensures smooth communication within the office and with external contacts while offering the student valuable professional experience in an academic publishing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Answer and direct office phone calls in a professional manner.
- Respond to general office emails promptly and courteously.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Assist with general office tasks such as filing, organizing, and copying documents.
- Provide support on special projects or other duties as assigned.
