Qualifications- Preferred Student Classification:
Must be a current SHSU student majoring in Accounting or Business. A classification of Sophomore or Junior is required. - The successful applicant will demonstrate the following qualities:
- An understanding of business and some accounting terms
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- The ability to work independently
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Punctual and dependable
- Enter journal vouchers in Banner
- Record deposit summaries in Excel
- Scan and appropriately file journal vouchers and deposit summaries
- Perform basic office duties (shredding, stock printer, distribute mail, box files, etc)
- Deliver paperwork to departments as needed and take deposits to Cashier’s Office
- Cover main phone line and email when Administrative Coordinator is out
- Other duties as assigned
