Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules, and requirements
Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment
(Un) packs or (un) wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.
Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges, and routes merchandise to destinations.
For a level 2:
High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Must be detail-oriented and have good communication skills
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office skills
Valid US Driver’s License
Prior experience with DD Form 1149
Working knowledge of SAP
Experienced/Certified user of a forklift and/or hand truck
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with change
Able to lift 50 plus pounds & stand for long periods of time

Primary Level Salary Range: $41,300.00 - $68,900.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $49,100.00 - $81,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate s experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
