Full Stack Software Engineer

Overview

The Aerospace Systems Group within the Defense System Sector at Leidos has an opening for a Full Stack Software Engineer supporting the RF Engineering portfolio in Huntsville, AL. This role uses your experience in software development and maintenance for advanced RF systems that provide critical information to customers.

The successful candidate will perform software engineering for full stack software, including design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs for enhancements and new software-intensive systems and products. Duties include software requirements analysis, analysis of hardware compatibility, and development of software products and tools used for design, development, and maintenance of infrastructure and platforms.

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Software, Electrical, Computer Engineering or similar degree with 4 years of experience; or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Fluent in Python with Django experience
• Database experience such as PostgreSQL
• Front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js
• Git version control and experience with software design
• Comfortable with Linux OS
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Requires current TS clearance and the ability and willingness to obtain a TS/SCI Poly in the future.

• Experience with message queues, containerization such as Pod Man or Docker, Java, C++, and Agile development.
• Current TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.
