Software Engineer, C++ Developer, Embedded Software Engineer

The selected engineer will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of embedded and application‑level C/C++ software running on Linux-based systems. The work involves implementing new features, supporting system integration efforts, and performing ongoing modifications and optimizations to existing software components.

This role requires strong collaboration with systems engineering, hardware engineering, and test organizations, as well as participation in technical reviews, code analysis, and formal documentation activities.

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in C/C++ development
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

• Experience with Python for automation or tooling
• Familiarity with Windchill PLM
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Background in weapons system or defense‑related software development
• Understanding of network protocols
  , particularly UDP/TCP, and experience using tools such as Wireshark

• $60–$65/hour (W2)
