Programmer; Software Engineering - Entry Level

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full‑time entry‑level hourly Programmer in Huntsville, Alabama.

In this role you will do the following:

• Implement code
• Integration between software and hardware

Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and will require a government security clearance.

• Associate degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related discipline; or related technical training; or related work experience. Completed coursework toward a related degree may be considered.
• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, or Python
• Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. Parsed at facility that requires special access.

• Knowledge of Agile Software Development
• Experience or classroom knowledge with embedded software and hardware
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team‑based environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Project Coordination Experience
• Active Secret Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
