Davidson Technologies is seeking a Sr. Software Developer in Huntsville, Alabama.
Required Education and Years of Experience- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
- Proficient in C/C++ and Java development languages as well as experience with Red Hat Linux, Linux Fedora Core, and Linux batch scripting.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in developing real-time, multi-processor, multi-core, distributed simulation synchronization software.
- Experience in development of interfaces and communication with the GMD Fire Control and Communications (GFC/C).
- Experience in development of interfaces and communication with the Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications system (C2
BMC). - Experience in the modeling and simulation of launch vehicle radar simulation for HWIL systems integration and test.
- Systems engineering experience in disciplines such as hardware and software integration, requirements development, verification and validation, and testing.
- Experience in the following:
- Software/hardware integration activities
- Software/hardware integration troubleshooting and bug‑fix activities
- Unit and system level verification and validation activities
- Conducting and participating in design and code reviews
- Troubleshooting and correcting simulation anomalies
- Analyzing and developing software in support of customer requirements
Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance
