Join Lockheed Martin Space as a Senior Software Engineer Staff, Architect. This role serves as a technical liaison representing the software organization for LRHW.

• Coordinate with external Army entities to drive the software solution for the Army platform.
• Work on‑site with a large software development team to drive solutions for the development of the Army platform.
• Represent software in the development of system‑level interfaces and technical solutions with other program organizations.
• Support the integration of software products in various labs.
• Participate in on‑site engineering reviews, change control, design review and certification boards as a software stakeholder.
• Ensure company command media is followed and advocate continuous process improvement.
• Mentor next generation software talent.

• Experience as a software technical lead, lead developer, or software architect.
• Experience developing ground software or embedded software solutions for various large scale programs.
• Experience interacting with customers, program leadership, and other organizations from a technical perspective.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Final Secret Clearance.

• Familiarity with managing software across multiple configuration baselines and tool sets.
• Familiarity with Agile and related management tools.

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $134,000 - $236,325. For other states the salary range reflects the final work location.
