Senior Software Engineer, Level 3 - Clearance Required

Join Lockheed Martin Space as a senior software engineer to support the software engineering lifecycle. The role follows the program Software Development Plan (SDP) and includes requirements analysis, object‑oriented design, code and unit testing, integration, and support to formal test/delivery.

• Support the full software life cycle from design to integration and test.
• Analyze requirements and develop architecture, design, and integration plans.
• Write, test, and maintain code in C/C++.
• Contribute to formal test and delivery activities.

• Experience with C/C++ programming.
• Ability to work with multi‑disciplined teams.
• Experience with the full software life cycle development including design, architecture, integration, and test.
• Active/Final Secret Clearance.

• Real‑time operating system (RTOS) experience (Green Hill or VxWorks).
• Knowledge of Agile software development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Previous experience writing and designing to software requirements.
