Senior Level Software Systems Engineer

Description

Derive architecture and develop traceability from requirements, to design, and then to code. The ideal candidate will have experience in extracting architectural details from a heritage code base, document that architecture, and trace it from requirements and down into the code. In addition, they will develop and contribute to detailed design documentation.

• Derive architecture details from an established code base
• Document the design and the traceability from specification to implementation
• Support Software Requirements derivation and definition with focus on solutions for verification

• 12+ years of experience in software systems design and analysis
• Experience with real time embedded systems
• Experience with software architecture definition and documentation
• Experience with Jira and Git in an Agile environment
• Experience with MIL-STD-1553 and discrete signals preferred.
• Experience with JAMA or comparable Requirement Management tools preferred

Remote work is not an option for this position. The position is in person in Huntsville, AL.
