Field Technician

Overview

As an environmental Field Technician, you will play a vital role in safeguarding our environment by collecting samples and monitoring potential pollution sources. Your work will contribute to ensuring public health and ecosystem well-being. You will have a weekly routine driving route 2-4 days a week where you collect and analyze field samples.

• Safely and efficiently drive assigned routes, arriving at designated locations for customers on time.
• Collect samples of water and soil for laboratory analysis.
• Perform on-site testing and analysis of samples in a field setting.
• Load and unload laboratory samples and field equipment.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies while operating a company vehicle.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Laboratory work: assist senior technicians and scientists with more complex laboratory procedures.

• Associate s degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or a related field preferred.
• HS Diploma Required
• Authorization to work in US indefinitely without sponsorship
• Valid driver s license with a clean driving record
• Professional working proficiency in English is required, including reading, writing, and speaking.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.

• Position is full-time with regular business hours of operation 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM; flexible scheduling for Field Technician positions.

  Huntsville, TX site.
• Position Pay Range: $18-20/hr, reviewed based on experience.
