The Role:
We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth, develop strategic partnerships, and expand our client base in the Aerospace and Industrial markets. This role is perfect for a sales professional with a hunter mentality who thrives on prospecting, closing deals, and nurturing long-term relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- New Business Development (50-70%) – Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new clients within the territory.
- Account Growth (30-50%) – Strengthen relationships with existing clients and uncover opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Strategic Prospecting – Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers.
- CRM & Pipeline Management – Utilize CRM tools to track prospects, leads, and deals, ensuring accurate data and timely follow-ups.
- Client Communication – Present tailored solutions to clients, demonstrating value and building trust.
- Industry Networking – Maintain a strong Linked In presence and leverage connections for business growth.
- Trade Shows & Travel – Represent the company at industry events, building brand awareness and generating leads (up to 50% travel, seasonally adjusted).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with HR, Operations, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Proven Sales Success – Strong track record of winning new business and expanding existing accounts.
- Industry Experience – Background in Aerospace or Industrial markets preferred.
- Technical Sales Acumen – Understanding of staffing, manufacturing, or engineering solutions is a plus.
- CRM & Data Savvy – Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM systems effectively.
- Excellent Communication Skills – Ability to engage with clients at all levels, from engineers to executives.
- Strategic Thinking – Ability to develop compelling proposals, bid strategies, and pricing models.
- Presentation & Business Case Development – Skilled in PowerPoint and Excel to create impactful client presentations and financial analyses.
- Self-Starter Mentality – Must be a proactive, hands-on sales professional with a relentless drive to succeed.
