Base pay range$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr
OverviewThe freezer, cooler, and deli stocker helps maintain safe, clean, and properly stocked areas to support operations and customer service in the freezer, cooler, and deli departments. You will be on the front lines of customer service in the deli area and play a key role in keeping products ready for our members.
Responsibilities- Maintain safety of the facility by following safety standards and procedures, conducting safety sweeps, handling hazardous materials properly, and reporting unsafe conditions to management.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns, stocking merchandise, setting up and cleaning displays, removing damaged goods, pricing merchandise, and completing required documentation.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, and resolving issues or concerns.
- Follow policies related to the Freezer/Cooler area, including food handling policies, equipment operation and sanitation, cold chain procedures, cleaning, and reporting issues to management.
- Keep shelves stocked with high-quality products and ensure proper temperature control and expiration date verification; dispose of lesser-quality items as needed.
- Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays; maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience with stocking and customer service is a plus
