OverviewThe Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. The role requires acquiring and maintaining knowledge of represented products, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers, and demonstrating products in a professional manner. The Associate must maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities- Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company retains the discretion to change the role based on business and client needs.

Qualifications- Education / Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:
Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device, navigating applications and internal systems. - Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local Food Handlers permit may be required.
- Physical Demands: The Associate will regularly be required to stand and walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear, maintain visual ability to read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies and product;
prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; be in contact with cleaning supplies. - Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
- Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.
- Physical Appearance: Must ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming; specific retailer dress code requirements are included in training documents.
