Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Full Time, 7 on 7 off, 12‑hr shifts, 1st Shift – $75K Sign‑On Bonus

Responsibilities- Cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management.
- Provide anesthesia care in 133 anesthetizing locations across Huntsville Hospital Health System.
- Operate, use, and interpret data from a wide variety of anesthesia equipment to support patient safety while under direct care.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and other disciplines.
- Maintain confidential records and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
- Current active state licensure as a registered nurse in Alabama or a compact state RN License, complying with all applicable CRNA statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
- Certified or recertified by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- Current competency in the clinical responsibilities specified below.
- ACLS, BLS, PALS from American Heart Association.
- Ability to perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist in the facility setting on a regular basis.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills required to collaborate with various clinical staff.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques.
- Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
- Ability to maintain confidential records and implement facility policies and procedures.
- Sign‑on bonus: $75,000 with a three‑year work commitment.
- Premium pay for weekends and extra shifts.
- Relocation assistance (must live >75 miles from Huntsville Hospital campus).
- Voluntary call:
