Wire Harness Assembler
We are seeking a skilled Wire Harness Technician to support aerospace production and assembly efforts. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work with precision, and a strong commitment to quality. You will be responsible for building, assembling, and testing wire harnesses and cable assemblies used in aerospace applications. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a clean, organized environment, can work independently, and collaborates well with a team—especially under high-demand timelines.
Responsibilities- Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering blueprints.
- Perform wire crimping, stripping, and light soldering as required.
- Install heat shrink, labels, boots, adapters, and protective materials.
- Route and secure wiring in accordance with aerospace standards and work instructions.
- Follow detailed work orders and maintain accurate production documentation.
- Conduct visual and mechanical inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Perform electrical testing and continuity checks on completed harnesses.
- Manage and track inventory of wiring components, tools, and connectors.
- Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to all safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members while also working independently to meet deadlines.
- Previous wire harness or electronic assembly experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain patient during repetitive, precision-focused tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work orders.
- Proficiency with crimp tools, wire strippers, light soldering equipment, and heat‑shrink application.
- Understanding of aerospace‑grade cable routing and quality standards.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team under tight timelines.
- Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to work overtime when needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with J standard and IPC 610.
- Experience with avionics systems and electronics.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes.

Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.
Pay and Benefits$18.00 - $24.00/hr.
