Electro Mechanic Maintenance Technician

Location:

Onsite – Huntsville, AL

Competitive Compensation:
Starting at $29.60, with an additional $1.50 per hour for night shifts. Occasional mandatory overtime may be required as needed.

Shift: Nights, 2‑2‑3 rotating schedule – 7 pm to 7 am.

• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on production equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (duties assigned based on skill level).
• Assist with installation, adjustment, and rebuilding of machinery and components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and basic diagnostics; elevate complex issues as needed.
• Interpret mechanical and/or electrical drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Support mold repair activities such as cleaning, adjustments, and minor component replacements (level‑specific for advanced repairs).
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and documentation.
• Identify potential equipment issues and notify appropriate maintenance staff or leadership.
• Perform general facility/grounds support tasks such as insulating pipes, protecting surfaces, and basic building upkeep.
• Maintain tools, inventory supplies, and follow all safety, SOP, and LOP requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and assist less experienced technicians when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on skill level and operational needs.

• Must be able to work in the US without restrictions or sponsorship.
• Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Mechanical proficiency and willingness.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance.
• Associates degree in electro‑mechanical technology or equivalent desired.
• Competency demonstrated through technical testing.
• Ability to communicate effectively for manufacturing production processes.
• Forklift experience preferred.

• Physical capability:
  Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, including bending, lifting, and pushing weights of up to 45–106 pounds or more. Working conditions – heavy industrial environment, including, but not limited to exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt.
