Assembly Process Technician

Location: Huntsville, AL

Duration: 3+ months

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Support training and development of other process technicians.
• Provide technical support to supervisors and engineers.
• Create Visual Work Instructions (VWIs) using 3D CAD.
• Document standard work using Pro Planner and PINPoint.
• Sequence all parts to correct the operation sequence.
• Set up routings of all new models and enter labor standards in line with manufacturing engineering.
• Set up Component Verification scanning and troubleshoot issues in production.
• Work with Quality group to document check backs.
• Set up Broadcast for clear instruction to operators.
• Use queries to generate pick lists of unique component parts for use during pilot builds.
• Work with materials team and production to manage component flow by effectiveness dates.
• Participate in VIP Program & Kaizen events.

Work content will primarily comprise of standard work instruction creation in Proplanner, structuring work instruction content in PINpoint, developing build sequence and route structure in PINpoint, and integrating Atlas Copco torque tools (via their Smart Cart) into these stations.
