Material Handler - Huntsville, AL

Starting Rate: $21.95+ Shift differential

Eligibility:

Night Shift: Monday-Friday 9:00PM-5:00AM

Immediately Hiring!

• Receiving, packaging, and shipping raw materials/finished goods to customers and end users.
• Follow detailed process instructions that produce and deliver world class quality aircraft transparencies.
• Work in a production environment with appropriate safety procedures in place.
• Read production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, or product code).
• Operate gas or electric powered forklift to move, stack, load or unload materials, parts, finished goods; may load/unload trucks; may use a Hi-Rise to load items in storage racks.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
• Ability to operate forklift in a safe and responsible manner, wear seatbelt.
• Availability to work evening, overnight shifts and overtime as needed.
• Three to five years of previous receiving/shipping experience is preferred.
