Leidos' Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and motivated Test Technician Supervisor to support our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. The Test Supervisor will oversee daily testing operations, ensure adherence to procedures, and drive continuous improvement in quality and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and organizational skills.

Primary Responsibilities- Supervise and manage a team of Test Technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate testing activities to meet production and quality goals.
- Ensure all tests are executed according to established procedures and protocols.
- Monitor and review test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Identify and address test anomalies, deviations, or failures, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
- Maintain and enforce safety standards, including proper handling of high-voltage equipment and adherence to ESD and FOD protocols.
- Manage test equipment and tools, ensuring proper calibration, maintenance, and availability.
- Manage the calibration, service and repair of Environmental Test chambers used for testing
- Prepare reports and documentation on testing activities, team performance, and quality metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field and 4-8 of prior relevant work experience or a Master's degree with 2-6 years or prior relevant work experience. In lieu of a degree, a High school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience will be considered
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in testing electronic assemblies or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience, preferably managing a team in a testing or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic components, testing methodologies, and equipment such as power supplies, load banks, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters (DMM).
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in reporting, and using software tools for testing and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and test procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for handling high-voltage equipment and sensitive electronic components.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during testing operations.
- Manual dexterity to handle small electronic components and tools.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 35 lbs
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the area
- Candidate must have the ability obrain/maintain a final secret security clearance
