• Perform high-profile work for the Department of Defense.
• Provide technical support engineering for assembly, construction, servicing or repair of equipment or instruments following specific instructions.
• Support adjusting and operating equipment, recording test data, and identifying deviations from equipment malfunction or observational errors.
• Function independently to resolve problems.
• Perform maintenance and other logistics functions on fielded systems.
• Operate a wide range of wheeled vehicles.
• Prepare shipping materials.
• Operate test and diagnostic equipment.
• Operate handling equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License.
• Interim Secret security clearance.

• Desired skills include:
• Heavy equipment operations, general material handling, and warehousing with experience handling hazardous materials.
• Computer literate (operate and update automated web-based data systems) and competent in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Mail).
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds with proper equipment and lifting techniques.
• Ability to perform strenuous walking, pushing, and lifting; stand for extended periods.
• Demonstrated precise documentation skills.

• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Strong background in mechanical repairs, with preference for experience in material handling equipment (commercial and military).
• Ability to adapt to a complex and evolving scope of work.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Proper use of standard hand tools and material handling equipment.
• Operation of heavy equipment, including trucks and forklifts, for material handling.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Maintain physical fitness to perform duties safely.
• Maintain required training and certifications.
• Ability to use computers to search for and generate information using Microsoft products.
• Travel 20-25% to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
