Temporary Assembler – Huntsville, AL

TSC is seeking a Temporary Assembler to support our production division.

• Performs basic and intricate electronic/electro‑mechanical assembly functions on prototype and production type hardware according to company workmanship standards and military or client specifications.
• Assists in the development and wiring of engineering models and in the development of assembly methods and wire lists.
• Uses hand or power tools to trim, shim, cut, and make other adjustments to fit components together and align them properly.
• May assist in instructing and training lower‑level assemblers.
• Reads and interprets wiring lists and assembly drawings and works to work orders using visual aids, ECNs, and schematics.
• May perform any rework from test failures in accordance with standard repair procedures and may set up and operate automatic prepping, loading, and insertion equipment.
• The employee may frequently be required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• The employee is required to reach with hands and arms.

• High school diploma and 0+ years of production and/or assembly experience
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• US Citizen and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, assembly drawings, and procedures to ensure components are assembled per specifications.

• Experience assembling sub‑assemblies using hand tools and basic power tools with attention to accuracy and quality.
• Experience inspecting work during assembly to identify and correct defects in real time.
• Knowledge of IPC Standards/Practices i.e. IPC‑610, IPC‑J‑STD, IPC‑620.
• Ability to test printed wiring boards (PWBs) in accordance with defined test procedures.

7am-3:30pm.
