• Inspect large‑scale parts at various stages of machining from first piece to final inspection using Romer arms, laser trackers, or scanners.
• Document non‑conforming material and provide concise feedback based on data collection.
• Maintain measurement equipment and ensure accuracy.
• Provide concise feedback to machinists and engineers.
• Work independently and effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

• High school diploma or GED with 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluency with standard measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, intra‑micrometers, optical comparators.
• At least 4 years experience using Romer Arm, AS1 Scanner, Leica AT960 or AT402 Laser Tracker, or CMM.
• Proficiency in GD&T per ASME Y14.5‑2009.
• Ability to execute or witness test procedures and generate test reports.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings, assembly schematics, specifications and preparing inspection reports.
• Generate quality documentation including inspection reports, bubble prints, C of C’s, and NCR’s.
• US Citizen with Final Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain it.
• Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to Huntsville.
• 3rd shift position.

• Experience in inspection of complex aerospace hardware and non‑conforming material.
• Experience with ISO
  9001/AS9100 quality systems, AS5553 counterfeit prevention, and AS9102 first‑article inspection.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.

$50,050.00 – $90,475.00.
