Maintenance Assistant
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
Part-Time

Our long-term care and rehabilitation community allows you to build meaningful connections with residents while supporting their comfort, safety, and recovery. We are currently seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with general maintenance tasks throughout the facility
- Maintain facility grounds and exterior areas
- Perform basic repairs involving mechanics, carpentry, electrical work, and painting
- Respond to work orders and prioritize tasks to meet facility needs
- Follow written and verbal instructions, diagrams, and schedules
- Maintain a safe environment by identifying and reporting hazards
- Work independently while supporting the maintenance team as needed
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in maintenance or a related field
- Demonstrated knowledge of mechanics, carpentry, electrical work, painting, or similar trades
- Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions, diagrams, and schedules
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage work orders efficiently
- Initiative and ability to work independently
- Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Ability to perform the essential job functions and meet physical and sensory requirements
