Equipment Operator

Job Overview:

Under direction of Construction Manager, perform soil excavation to 8 feet, load trucks and stockpile soil. Backfill and site restoration including placing and compacting soils, culverts, water lines, roadway and revegetation

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, skid steers.
• Ability to work in team environment in safe and productive manner
• Install erosion control measures
• Clear vegetation
• Perform site restoration

• Civil Construction and Heavy Equipment Operating experience including excavator and bulldozers
• MUST LIVE LOCAL TO HUNTSVILLE, AL (within daily commute)
• No Felonies
• Clean driving record with valid license
• Dependable transportation and cell phone
• Able to pass drug screen and physical
• OSHA HAZWOPER Preferred

Work Schedule:

• 10hrs/day, 5 days/wk

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $30 per hour. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
