Equipment Operator

Job Overview

Under direction of Construction Manager, perform soil excavation to 8 feet, load trucks and stockpile soil. Backfill and site restoration including placing and compacting soils, culverts, water lines, roadway and revegetation.

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, skid steers.
• Ability to work in team environment in safe and productive manner.
• Install erosion control measures.
• Clear vegetation.
• Perform site restoration.

• Civil Construction and Heavy Equipment Operating experience including excavator and bulldozers.
• MUST LIVE LOCAL TO HUNTSVILLE, AL (within daily commute).
• No felony convictions.
• Clean driving record with valid license.
• Dependable transportation and cell phone.
• Able to pass drug screen and physical.
• OSHA HAZWOPER preferred.

• 10 hrs/day, 5 days/week.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $30 per hour. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
