About our Department:
The General Services Department consists of several divisions in different locations throughout the City. The Facilities Projects Division manages new construction, additions, and alterations of City-owned buildings and parks. The Maintenance Division oversees the maintenance and janitorial services of City-owned structures and properties.
This is manual work cleaning, securing, and performing minor maintenance of public buildings and facilities. Work involves responsibility for routine cleaning and maintenance; opening and closing facilities; and responsibility for maintaining the security of public facilities particularly during public functions.
Qualifications andSpecial Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is desired; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Work requires the ability to read and write and some janitorial experience.
A valid driver's license is desired.
Work SchedulePosition requires working 2nd Shift.
