Davidson is actively seeking a Procurement Analyst in Huntsville, Alabama. This individual will help drive mission success in support of the United States Air Force (USAF) Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS). This program is dedicated to supporting multiple mission sets through supply chain management, agile procurement, and close collaboration with multiple Prime Contractors. The individual may also support the SCALE (Supply Chain Analytics and Logistics Environment) development program in Huntsville, AL.
SCALE is a data‑driven analytics platform integrating procurement, logistics, and forecasting operations to enable predictive and prescriptive decision‑making for the Department of Defense.
As the Procurement Analyst you will be the primary conduit between the customer and our supplier base, owning the full procurement cycle while keeping senior leaders informed of performance, risk, and opportunities.
Job Responsibilities- Act as the main liaison with suppliers, communicating requirements and expediting deliveries
- Manage purchase requisitions from creation to close‑out
- Track material forecasts
- Report key supply‑chain metrics, risk assessments, and improvement ideas to senior stakeholders
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct corrective‑action follow‑up, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives
- Bachelor's degree
- 1‑3 years of related experience
- Exceptional communication
- Customer focus and collaboration skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of MS Office tools
- Experience working with remote suppliers or global OEMs
- Experience working with Air Force customers
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance (not required to start)
