Sr Business Development Manager – Aircraft Integration

We are looking for a Sr. Business Development Manager who has experience in the US Military, US Department of Defense, or Aerospace & Defense industries, and who can grasp and translate technical ideas, pool resources with multiple teams, and develop capture strategies. Responsibilities include meeting with customers, facilitating new business opportunities, and developing and executing capture strategies; overseeing market assessment, monitoring market activity, identifying customer needs, and assisting with new product development planning activities.

Your duties also include assessing program opportunities against target market, core proficiency, revenue potential, company ability, and projected business forecasts.

Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) provides affordable, turnkey command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection, and security solutions worldwide. The MST team supports the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Typically, 8+ years of progressive business development experience, including 6+ years of management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of US Department of Defense Military programs or Civil Space services and acquisition procedure
  • Experience with Airborne ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance)
  • Experience with Aircraft Integration
  • International business experience
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and operations concepts and interpret, translate, and explain detailed technical ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Progressive experience with technical marketing, proposal development, and program management or engineering design
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to motivate/work with others
  • An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Exposure to proposal coordination activities to ensure proposals are staffed and supported to achieve success
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast‑paced environment, emphasizing rapid fielding of capabilities, with minimal supervision
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military

Estimated Starting Salary: $ – $
