Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Developer (Subject Matter Expert) to support and modernize mission-critical systems in a secure environment. This role will provide deep technical expertise, lead development efforts, and support complex application and database solutions.
- Serve as a technical SME for application development and system integration
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Perl in a Linux (Red Hat) environment
- Support and enhance database functionality using PL/SQL
- Implement and maintain data security controls, including Oracle Label Security
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system upgrades and enhancements
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and mentoring to team members
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of IT experience
- 5+ years of experience with Perl development
- Strong experience working in Linux (Red Hat) environments
- Active Top Secret security clearance (required at time of hire)
- Experience with Oracle Label Security
- Strong PL/SQL development experience
- Background supporting DoD or federal programs
- Experience working in secure or classified environments
