Kachemak Bay Flying Service (KBFS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of System Studies and Simulation (S³), providing a variety of aviation services to commercial, Government, and Partner Nation customers. KBFS has locations in Temple, TX;
Crestview, FL; and Geneva, AL. It holds certifications for CFR 14 FAA Part 133, 135, 137, 141, and 145, and supports the Department of Defense, US Federal Agencies, and foreign militaries. The Crestview, FL International ISR Training Academy offers pilot, mission system operator, and loadmaster training. KBFS Geneva supports Fixed Base Operations at Geneva Municipal Airport, and Temple provides Flight Training, Aircraft Maintenance, and Avionics support.

We have an immediate opening for a Program Control Analyst in Research Park, Huntsville, AL. This is not a telework position.

Job Description

The Program Control Analyst will work independently to provide solutions to complex problems, support project planning and control for multiple contracts, and may supervise lower-level employees.

Key responsibilities include:

Develop solutions to complex problems requiring initiative and innovation.

Support project planning and control for an OCONUS contract valued at several hundred million dollars.

Facilitate project setup, prepare work plans, and track labor and material costs using Deltek Costpoint and Quick Books.

Prepare and manage Individual Work Authorizations, verify timecard charges, and manage employee charging in Costpoint.

Maintain data and task products via SharePoint, including schedules and documentation.

Establish and update files, records, and certificates.

Prepare budget assessments, analyze costs, and develop and monitor budgets.

Create and maintain project schedules and performance reports.

Evaluate employee timecards and ensure proper charging.

Analyze contract work authorization to develop work plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience with Deltek/Costpoint and SharePoint.
Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets (skill level 3/5).
Experience with project expenditure tracking, budget preparation, and work plan development for fixed-price and cost-plus contracts.
At least 2 years of experience with SharePoint.
