network engineering support includes all engineering activities required to support the standard information technology lifecycle. The ideal candidate will provide design and engineering activities in support of new network solutions for a multi-enclave enterprise network environment which encompasses various technology. In addition, the candidate will provide network support on an as needed basis to resolve networking issues that have not been resolved by the first three support tiers.

• minimum of 3+ years of networking experience with specialization in networking technologies, specifically with cisco switches and routers and resolving lan/wan issues
• basic knowledge of ip, ospf, bgp, eigrp, mpls, stateful firewalls and encryption technologies
• working knowledge of network management tools, such as riverbed, wireshark, micro focus network automation, etc.
• working knowledge of web applications, web servers, application load balancers and storage systems.
• must have good knowledge of general security tools and methodologies such as firewalls, (ids)/ips and access control lists.
• this is an overnight shift tuesday – saturday
