SUMMARY of Program:The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) provides Information Technology (IT) support to Program Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires which is a Continental United States (CONUS) organization. The OCIO provides centralized life cycle management, direction, guidance, and support for the acquisition, sustainment, maintainability, supportability, and implementation of PAE Fires, Information Mission Area (IMA). PAE Fires is an approved Data Center providing hosting to multiple organizations throughout the US Army Acquisition community.
GeneralSummary of the Position:
The Business Analyst will provide technical, business, and administration support to the Resource Management Team in managing the Verizon accounts and providing assistance with contract and purchasing actions, as well as managing and distributing for action any SACO (Staff Action Control Office) taskers.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs detailed analyses of business processes and provides an interface between traditional IT support organizations and functional requirement definitions. Business Analysts must be excellent verbal and written communicators as they will interface with and gather information from a very diverse group. A BA must have a wide range of knowledge in various aspects of IT and in the customer business area.
Must be able to interact effectively with different teams and POCs.
Through minimal supervision develops both technical and business documentation for internal and external requirements, which includes analysis of business requirements and user needs and gains required concurrence.
Supports senior management with business, technical, and staff action tasks through research, fact finding, and understanding of the business processes within the organization. Staff Action tasks may require consolidation of information, formatting comment matrices, and robust tracking of action items through assigned personnel. This responsibility is critical in ensuring that Staff Action tasks are completed in a thorough and timely manner by assigned personnel.
Assist government RM Team with contractual requirements, market research, and funding setup/requests.
Execute the management of up to 1800 government personal electronic devices and associated accounts
- Manage Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Storefront/Marketplace accounts for mobile users
- Create, manage, edit, and deactivate DSF/DMP CJONs as necessary
- Manage and maintain Apple Business Manager
- Fulfill account modifications ensuring proper equipment and services
- Collect and post monthly billing and usage reports, or provide as requested
- Coordinate with POCs regarding changes required for PEDs, billing concerns, or overages
- Routinely audit Verizon accounts and provide recommendations to POCs and RM Team
- Coordinate new Standard Operating Procedures for iPhone users
- Support realignment efforts with the transition of communication contracts and reorganization of lines
