Performance Drone Works (PDW) builds technologies for the warfighter, by the warfighter. Born out of the Drone Racing League, our roots are competitive, our mindset is tactical, and our mission is clear: deliver purpose‑built unmanned systems to those who serve. We are not here to sell vapor; we build and ship real capabilities for real missions.

Now, we’re entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a Tier 2 IT Systems Support Engineer to strengthen our IT operations by providing advanced technical support, endpoint management, and infrastructure assistance as we scale to meet the needs of a growing, engineering‑driven organization.

  • Manage device enrollment, configuration, and compliance through Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro
  • Administer user and group access in Entra  (Azure AD) and other SaaS applications
  • Maintain device security baselines, including patching, encryption, and MFA enforcement
  • Monitor endpoint compliance dashboards and remediate vulnerabilities identified by security scan
  • Support new‑hire onboarding, imaging, and deployment of hardware and software assets
  • Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and processes in the IT knowledge base
  • Collaborate with IT Operations and Infrastructure teams to execute approved system or SaaS integration tasks
  • Participate in IT projects such as migrations, process improvements, and SaaS application administration
  • Promote best practices within the IT support team and educate end users on acceptable use, security awareness, and effective technology habits
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration or equivalent role
  • Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Entra  (Azure AD) administration
  • Familiarity with Jamf Pro or other mobile‑device‑management (MDM) platforms
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Ability to document processes clearly and communicate technical concepts effectively
  • Understanding of IT security principles and access‑control best practices
  • CompTIA Security+ certification required, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required (ITAR compliance)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with scripting or automation (Power Shell, Bash, Ansible)
  • Exposure to CMMC Level 2 or other regulated‑environment compliance
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
