CFD Research is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in the stages of the recruitment process, ensuring strong pipelines of qualified candidates. You will analyze the company s hiring and talent needs, use various channels to source top candidates, work closely with hiring managers, and conduct resume screening and interviewing.
This person will also be responsible for building relationships with applicants and current employees, researching talent acquisition trends to improve the process, and representing the organization at job fairs and recruiting events.
- Utilize various sourcing techniques and tools to identify potential and passive candidates through online databases, job boards (Dice, Indeed, Linked In), social media platforms, Internet sourcing, Boolean keyword searching, and networking to identify top talent for our organization.
- Schedule complex onsite panel interviews with candidates and act as host for those interviews at our corporate HQ.
- Review applicants, update statuses, and maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate information in Greenhouse (our Applicant Tracking System) to shepherd candidates through the hiring process.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, and market trends.
- Handle PII responsibly and comply with all company policies, including HIPAA laws and regulations.
- Career Fair/ Hiring Event travel may be required periodically to represent CFD effectively.
- Experience with full-cycle recruitment processes (sourcing, interviewing, hiring).
- Minimum of four (4) years of relevant recruiting/ talent acquisition experience.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools;
Greenhouse experience is a plus. - Recruiting experience within the DoD industry is a plus.
- Ability to handle complex interview scheduling with multiple Outlook calendars, including both face-to-face and virtual interviews using Microsoft Teams, and to communicate interview confirmation emails to candidates in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a metric-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, research and candidate generation skills (e.g., Boolean search, Dice, Indeed, Clearance Jobs, Linked In, etc.), and ability to stay current with developing techniques.
- Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proactive, results-driven mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office Tools, and ability to create and update basic Excel spreadsheets, PDF and Word documents.
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Bachelor s Degree in a related field is a plus. - Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Location:
This role is 100% onsite and based at CFD Research corporate headquarters in Huntsville, AL. Depending on experience level, there may be opportunity for occasional telework flexibility one (1) day per week.
