Responsibilities
- Works on problems of diverse Product where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.
- Works with managers and HR Director to develop recruiting strategies to meet the company’s hiring needs, including understanding and prioritizing budgeted headcount, recommending and executing various recruiting strategies and developing a recruiting plan and timeline for open positions.
- Advises managers and ensures they follow the Company’s recruiting processes, procedures and guidelines.
- Utilizes internal and external sources to develop candidate leads.
- Screens and interviews candidates to determine whether a candidate meets the minimum criteria for a position(s).
- Assists in the facilitation of pre-employment travel, relocation, start dates, background and reference checks and employment processing.
- Works with HR Director to develop competitive compensation packages for candidates and drives negotiations and closing of employment offers.
- Ensures candidate and requisition activities are chronicled appropriately in the ATS.
- May participate in analyzing trends and making recommendations to improve employment processes.
- Works with external resources including temporary agencies, contract search and internet sourcing tools.
- Provides sourcing, recruiting and identification of candidates for a variety of positions.
- May assist with employment advertising campaigns and programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical device industry is preferred.
- Professional certification such as SPHR, PHR or advanced degree is a plus.
- Equivalent experience may be accepted.
- Must have experience using internet sourcing tools and strategies.
- Must be able to work with a high attention to detail.
- Must have excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong computer skills and experience with ATS applications is required.
- Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate time management, priority management, planning and coordination/multi-tasking skills.
- Must demonstrate an ability to build relationships and work as a team player.
- Experience with Talent Selection/Behavioral Interviewing techniques is a plus.
