Northrop Grumman C2 & Weapons Integration division is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)/Principal Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) 2/3 to join our community of committed HR professionals supporting a growing workforce. Our HR community is composed of incredible people with different abilities, diverse thinking and varied backgrounds who find professional fulfillment in understanding and advocating for employees, supporting the coaching and development of the management team, and solving organizational challenges through our partnership with business leadership.

This role will be located at our Bellevue, NE, or Huntsville, AL location.



Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as a strategic HR business partner, consulting with leadership to drive talent strategies, organizational development, and influence business outcomes.
  • Collaborates with organizational leaders to develop HR processes that support business objectives and enhance overall HR effectiveness.
  • Leads HR discussions on employee relations, talent development initiatives, compensation management, and organizational efficiency enhancements.
  • Partners closely with HR colleagues across operations, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and organizational effectiveness to ensure strategic alignment of HR initiatives.
  • Analyzes organizational trends and challenges to provide actionable solutions that support business goals and improve HR operations.
  • Supports leaders in making informed decisions regarding talent management and utilizes effective HR practices to drive business results.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and escalating issues as necessary to maintain workflow efficiency.
This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications For Human Resources Business Partner

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required plus 2 + years of experience in HR – OR – 0 + years of experience with a Master’s degree in related field. An additional four years of human resources experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience working in an HR based role, which may include organizational effectiveness, recruiting, or HR generalist or specialist duties.
  • Demonstrated success in the application of HR principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and influence others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Developed ability to influence, coach, and consult with senior executive management.
