Cardiac Cath Technologist RT – Cath Lab – Full Time – 1st Shift ($9,000 Sign-On Bonus)
We are looking for a Cardiac Cath Technologist to assist physicians with diagnostic procedures and support the team throughout the patient care cycle.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure support to ensure optimal patient care.
- Adapt to a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with changing schedules.
- Education: High School diploma or GED required.
- License/Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) eligibility. BCLS certification required within 90 days of employment. ACLS certification required within 12 months.
- Competency: EKG competency testing within first 90 days and annually:
Part 1 (visual identification of 6 lethal cardiac rhythms, 100% score) and Part 2 (basic EKG rhythms written exam, 85% or higher). - Experience: Cardiac catheterization for diagnostic procedures, cardiovascular patient care, radiographic special procedures, and/or hemodynamic monitoring experience.
- Additional Skills/Abilities: Ability to adapt to fast‑paced dynamic work, work with patients with acute/chronic/complex cardiac disease, maintain integrity in accurate performance and reporting of diagnostic procedures, and learn techniques quickly.
