Deliver exceptional service even during difficult financial conversations, keeping patients happy while handling payment matters. - Be the Face of AFC

Greet patients with warmth and professionalism. - Own the Front Desk Flow

Process payments, schedule appointments, and manage patient check‑ins efficiently. - Protect Patient Information

Maintain organized records while strictly following HIPAA regulations.
- You have experience with insurance verification and medical billing (non‑negotiable).
- You can explain complex insurance concepts to frustrated patients with empathy and clarity.
- You’re obsessively detail‑oriented – a single digit error in an insurance cost thousands.
- You’ve worked as a Medical Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or in any Customer Service role in a medical office setting.
- You’re tech‑savvy with medical billing software and EMR systems.
- You have excellent problem‑solving skills and can find billing solutions that work for both patients and the clinic.
- You maintain a positive attitude even when dealing with challenging financial conversations.
- Develop highly marketable skills in medical billing and insurance.
- Receive specialized training in insurance verification and patient financial counseling.

Our state‑of‑the‑art urgent care facility - Schedule:
Part‑time with flexible shifts (some evenings/weekends) - Requirements:
- High school diploma preferred; X‑Ray Tech, Medical Assistant or related certification is a plus
- Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, education, certifications, internal equity and market conditions.
