• Master Insurance Verification

  Verify coverage before services are provided, prevent claim denials, and maximize revenue capture.
• Excel at Financial Counseling

  Explain costs, billing processes, and insurance complexities to patients in a clear manner.
• Solve Billing Problems
  :
  Proactively identify and resolve insurance discrepancies and billing issues before they impact revenue.
• Drive Patient Satisfaction

  Deliver exceptional service even during difficult financial conversations, keeping patients happy while handling payment matters.
• Be the Face of AFC
  :
  Greet patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Own the Front Desk Flow
  :
  Process payments, schedule appointments, and manage patient check‑ins efficiently.
• Protect Patient Information
  :
  Maintain organized records while strictly following HIPAA regulations.

• You have experience with insurance verification and medical billing (non‑negotiable).
• You can explain complex insurance concepts to frustrated patients with empathy and clarity.
• You’re obsessively detail‑oriented – a single digit error in an insurance  cost thousands.
• You’ve worked as a Medical Receptionist, Administrative Assistant, or in any Customer Service role in a medical office setting.
• You’re tech‑savvy with medical billing software and EMR systems.
• You have excellent problem‑solving skills and can find billing solutions that work for both patients and the clinic.
• You maintain a positive attitude even when dealing with challenging financial conversations.

• Schedule:
  
  Part‑time with flexible shifts (some evenings/weekends)
• Requirements:
  • High school diploma preferred; X‑Ray Tech, Medical Assistant or related certification is a plus
  • Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, education, certifications, internal equity and market conditions.
