Patient Care Technician
Overview
Couriers will provide transportation support to specific entities within the Huntsville Hospital system and/or Health Group of Alabama. Responsibilities include the pick up and delivery of lab specimens, supplies, reports, and mail, transporting patients and employees, greeting customers (including valet), moving requested departments, and assisting with monthly fire extinguisher checks and Hazardous surveillance checks. The Courier will document all pick-ups and maintain accurate record files at all times.

- Document all pick-ups and maintain accurate record files at all times.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: One year of courier, transportation, or moving service experience preferred, preferably in a health care setting. Demonstrated history of being responsible, courteous, and reliable. Valid driver's license and insurability by HH standards. Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement is a plus.
- Other Skills/Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to follow oral and written instructions; high attention to detail.
