Travel MRI Technologist – Huntsville, AL

Location: Huntsville, Alabama

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 8 Weeks

Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

The MRI Technologist performs advanced imaging procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist and in accordance with established departmental protocols. The technologist provides timely, high-quality imaging for both inpatient and outpatient services.

• Operate MRI equipment to perform a wide range of imaging studies (soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities)
• Adjust imaging parameters to ensure diagnostic-quality results
• Administer contrast media as directed and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation per department and regulatory standards

• 2–3 years of MRI experience required
• ARRT (R) and (MR) certifications required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

• Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Holds Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) registry through ARRT
• Maintains an active State License as a general radiographer
