Overview
Performs patient care by assisting physicians with diagnostic procedures. Supports team members before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
QualificationsEducation: High School diploma or GED required.
License, certification, and/or registration: Eligibility for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. BCLS certification within 90 days of employment. ACLS certification within 12 months. EKG Competency Testing within the first 90 days and annually: (Part
1) Visual identification of 6 lethal cardiac rhythms, score 100%; (Part
2) Basic EKG rhythms written exam, score 85% or higher.
Experience: Experience in cardiac catheterization, cardiovascular patient care, radiographic procedures, or hemodynamic monitoring is preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, work with complex cardiac patients, and maintain accuracy in procedures. Quick learner of techniques.
