Work Schedule:
Part Time – 24 hours per week.

- Conduct solution-focused consultations; helping clients define goals, plan action and gain insight.
- Assess and refer to appropriate programs and services including work-life, behavioral health, substance abuse/chemical dependency and community-based resources.
- Assist with referrals for members needing ongoing or additional counseling services.
- Provide limited after-care monitoring to ensure safety of employees and continuity of treatment.
- Provide manager consultation services on a variety of work-related issues such as performance management, workplace trauma, organizational change, crisis intervention, coaching and work-life issues.
- Provide crisis intervention and management support in response to critical incidents.
- Conduct training services for managers and employees (e.g., wellness seminars, health fairs, lunch & learns).
- Participate in monthly one-on-ones, team meetings and other customer meetings as required.
- Utilize UHG computer to accurately document member interactions using the appropriate clinical case management system within departmental time frames.
- Follow internal ethical and regulatory privacy policies such as HIPAA, maintain confidentiality and privacy of member health information, and comply with state and federal licensing practices.
- Complete other projects assigned by manager.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in a recognized behavioral health discipline.
- Current, unrestricted Alabama license at the independent practice level.
- 3+ years of experience in a behavioral health/EAP setting.
- Solid virtual presentation skills for EAP programs.
- Comfortable marketing and promoting services on site.
- Reside in the State of Alabama.
- CEAP certification.
- Training (virtual) in EAP, workplace and organizational dynamics.
- Experience in managed care, private or public clinics with emphasis on mental health, chemical dependency and workplace issues.
- Proficiency with all MS Office applications (Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with different levels of management and personnel.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage stressful situations and multiple competing priorities.
Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour.
