  • Perform MRI procedures at a tech level following TOC protocols
  • Maintain proper quality control procedures
  • Comfortable performing gadolinium injections for contrast exams
  • Document work process as required
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to MRI exams and equipment
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and staff
  • Understanding of concepts, standards, procedures, and equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to work extended hours and cover other office locations when necessary

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of imaging techniques to perform a routine test
  • Knowledge of imaging equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation
  • Requires adherence to all policies and procedures, including standards for safety, attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance
  • Three 12-hour Shifts Friday-Sunday
  • Exceptional customer service/patient care skills are required

Qualifications:

Education and Certification

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Radiology program required
  • National registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (AART)
  • CPR Certification

Experience

  • A Minimum of One (1) year of experience in MRI is required.

Must also possess:

  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Outstanding organizational, verbal, and writing skills
  • Independent, self-starting, and highly motivated
  • Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
  • Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude and work history

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to use eyes, ears, arms, hands, and fingers skillfully
  • Frequent moving, pushing, and pulling of heavy patients and equipment
  • Constant standing and walking
  • Must be agile and able to work efficiently in limited space areas
  • Consistently work at a productive pace
  • Must readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes
