Description
Serve as an Assistant Battle Captain (Watch Officer) in a four-star Army operations center.

Candidates for this position are required to abide by Federal Government site access COVID-related safety rules, as well as corporate safety protocol measures.
This is a 2nd shift position: Work schedule:
Work three days on and four days off, four days on and three days off, with shifts of twelve hours. This is a 2nd shift, night position ).
- Work triage in a staff duty type environment
- Evaluate incoming information and orchestrate Command reactions to the information
- Coordinate with other operations centers such as Headquarters Department of Army, Army Materiel Command Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs), Combatant Commands (COCOMs), and other Army Command (ACOMs) s
- Prepare briefings and reports to prepare a smooth transition to the other shift and to brief AMC leaders
- Coordinate Master Events Calendar
- Contact key ACOM command and staff personnel on Commander’s Critical Information Requirements (CCIRs) and the like Prepare senior leader updates and correspondence
- Conduct briefings for senior Government officials in classified and non-classified modes
- Other duties as assigned
- Must adhere to the company QMS and AS9100 policies procedures and guidelines.
- BS/BA degree with 12 years of experience or Masters with 10 years of experience, or PHD with 8 years of experience. Preferably as a senior Army logistician or multi-functional logistician.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to write, edit, and proofread a variety of presentations, position papers, and memoranda.
- Strong interpersonal and questioning skills able to interact effectively with Senior Army Staff clients on a daily basis. Adaptable to various work styles, environments, and locations.
- Must be self-directed, detail oriented, and resourceful in completing assigned tasks and projects within established time frames.
- Proficient with MS Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Position requires that the applicant possess and maintain a current DoD Secret or above Security Clearance. (Only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.)
